Hudson Logging

Been jumping around from job to job the last few weeks doing a little subcontracting for some local friends/contractors. Everything from road work to helping with the big tower. It’s always nice to be able to stay busy this time of year. Looking forward to a busy spring/summer!

Spent the last few days over in gilligan creek cleaning up an absolute nightmare of a mess that some other contractor left for this landowner to deal with. Now that all the debris are cleared and the ground leveled they can proceed with their horse pasture for their new horses. Another satisfied customer! On to the next project

And we’re back to the thinning! Time for a little Sunday-funday action. Should have this little job pretty well wrapped up by the end of the day. Then it’s off to stanwood for some clearing/dirtwork! Our schedule for the upcoming spring/summer still has some availability so if you’re looking to do some forestry work on your property shoot us a message!

And we’re off! To ebey Mtn to help our friends at Janicki Logging repair some road and install some culverts on their logging job. Recent rains have done some serious damage to the ditches and culverts on our mountain roads. Time for some maintenance!

My little road project is coming along nicely

Time to load em up and ship em out. They don’t pay the bills sittin on the landing!

Putting the little kitty to work pioneering some road into our next job this morning. Gotta build about half a mile of road into a few acres of thinning/salvage on the south Skagit.

We’re movin the wood in Machias this week! This jobs really turning out to be a dandy. Several more loads to cut and several more to buck up. We love some nice loggin like this.
