Your cockney accent is unique.
It adds a little more mystique.
We love to watch you on your decks,
Your disco lights add the effects.
Your eyes intense beneath the specs.
Your spinning skills are quite complex.
You like to dance & shake those hips.
We love to watch you purse your lips.
And while you take your bike for a spin,
I’ll toast to you with a splash of gin.
We know this year has been quite tough,
But you add the smooth to all the rough.
Your sense of right makes you so wise.
We’re there for you through lows & highs.
So let this birthday be full of light,
And party on throughout the night...

You can’t recognise the good times without a little bad.
Memories of the dance floor make my heart feel glad.
And although we may feel alone every single day.
I know there will be a time where this will all replay.

Feeling very sad as my wonderful friend lost his mother to this loathsome virus today. My heart 💔 breaks for him and his family & continues to fragment for all those still suffering. Dreaming of a time when we can all feel safe, secure & well again. Felt strangely angry at the beauty of this brazen sunset tonight. Life goes on...
