We had a great meeting this week! Robin Balke gave her icebreaker speech and showed off her talents at public speaking. Robin is a valued and active member of the community who has many years of public speaking experience, and she is a great asset to our club. We can all learn a lot from her! Our topics master Jacob did a wonderful job and kept everyone engaged in conversation and speeches. We will be meeting again on April 18th at 7pm same location :) we hope to see you there!

Last night we had a very "hands on" meeting as you can tell from these pictures :) Emily Harding gave us an amazing icebreakers speech and Hallye Newton brought us an interesting new way to pick topics as our Topic Master. We were able to continue conversations even after the meeting was adjourned, so it was a great success! We hope to see even more people as we continue to grow in the community.

Hallye Newton will be our Topic Master tonight and has some very fun and interesting topics to bring to us. We are still located in the same place, the Boonslick Regional Library downstairs. "There are three things to aim at in public speaking: First, to get into your subject. then to get your subject into yourself, and lastly, to get your subject in the heart of your audience."

We had a great meeting last night! We were excited to see some new people join us. Baylee Garrison, a member of Sedalia Young Professionals, gave a wonderful icebreaker speech to begin the meeting. The "Icebreaker" is something we do as a group, it allows someone to prepare a speech before hand and present it to the group, being aware of optimal time limits and receiving feedback on the speech to hear highlights as well as ways to improve it. Our next meeting will be March 21st at 7pm in the same location. We hope to see you there!
