The newly unveiled Ferrari Luce has captured attention as the brandโ€™s first fully electric vehicle, proving once again that heritage and innovation can exist in the same design story.

That idea resonates beyond the road.

For more than 125 years, GGI has continued to evolve with the glass and glazing industry. And when GGI brings something new to architectural glass, the industry notices.

In this past Ferrari project, GGI furnished red back-painted glass and all-glass entrance systems, helping bring the brandโ€™s unmistakable identity into the built environment.

Every year opens the door to new challenges, new opportunities and new ways to create spaces that capture attention.

Because timeless brands do not stand still. They keep opening the door to what comes next.

Before fabricated glass leaves GGI's fabrication facility and is loaded for delivery, every order goes through a quality control inspection process. This step helps ensure each piece meets or exceeds customer specifications AND expectations.

One example of how quality control is emphasized is the Softsolution LineScanner shown in the video. The LineScanner automates and enhances quality checks for specific glass configurations.

As glass moves through the LineScanner, the system performs high-precision inspection of transparent flat glass products, evaluating:

๐Ÿ”Ž Geometry and dimensional accuracy
๐Ÿ”Ž Surface quality and defect detection
๐Ÿ”Ž Edge quality

Using parallel light technology, the LineScanner enables detailed optical inspection with flexibility to accommodate different production setups, while maintaining efficiency within a compact footprint.

For customers, this means:
โ–  Consistent quality across fabricated glass orders
โ–  Reduced risk of visual defects or performance issues
โ–  Greater confidence in meeting design intent and specifications
โ–  Reliable performance for demanding architectural applications

At GGI, quality control is not a single stepโ€”it is an integrated process supported by skilled teams and advanced technologies. Every order is inspected with care to help ensure it arrives ready for installation and long-term performance.
