This is 25. 🥂
Twenty-four came with more ups and downs than I ever imagined, and probably, the hardest obstacle I’ll face in my lifetime. On January 20, 2025, I had open-heart surgery to repair my mitral valve and remove some overgrown heart muscle. Racing was on pause for almost a year, nurse practitioner school was paused for about six months, and I had to learn how to be patient while waiting to get back to the things I love.
I didn’t realize how bad I felt before surgery until I got back in the race car. I can finally breathe! I’m now reinforced with two metal plates in my sternum, so my heart is officially harder to break.
Feeling a little rusty but beyond excited to be back in the car and getting ready for the 2026 Hoosier Super Tour with SMX.
Twenty-four gave me a new heart, my first house, and my son Charlie (Charles Leclerc) 🐶
Not totally sure what 25 has in store yet, but I do know I’ll be a nurse practitioner in about two months from now.
I’ve got some work to do!

This race season looks a little bit different for me. Unfortunately I had to sit out of the first two races of the season due to a “blown motor” (my heart 🫀).
On Monday the 20th I’m going in for open heart surgery to repair my mitral valve and add some more horsepower. My surgeon is confident I will be good to go by April, just in time for at VIR. I have two of the best surgeons in the country and they both love racing❤️🏁
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me and sent prayers my way. I’ll post updates throughout the week and once I’m awake from surgery!

And just like that the 2024 SMX season comes to an end. It has been an amazing journey traveling with and attending my first SCCA runoffs! This season has taught me so much and I feel so blessed to be able to do this.
We had so many ups and downs at the runoffs but walked away feeling accomplished. Today marks 9 years since the first time I ever drove on a race track. It’s crazy to think how far I’ve come and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing people in my life. Thank you , my parents and , , , and . Looking forward to 2025!

Feeling so grateful for the opportunity to do all these races this year with my family. It’s been a journey of learning and growth and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next! We’ve had an eventful season so far and looking forward to the rest of the year! Next up is Watkins Glen May 31.
Thank you to and the whole crew for keeping and I on track 🤍🏁
