Assembly Church is a welcoming congregation that desires to connect you with Jesus. There will then be Biblical teaching followed by a time of prayer.
After being welcomed by one of our volunteers, you are invited to check your kids in at the welcome center to join Assembly Kids activities or find a seat in our sanctuary until service begins. A typical service will begin with about 15-25 minutes of announcements, live music and singing - a mix of traditional and contemporary songs. In Week 3 of our series, Executive Pastor David Brown challenges us to develop the spiritual vision necessary to recognize when God is doing something new. Using Isaiah 43:16-21 as the foundation of this message, we explore God’s promise: “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Just as a surfer must learn to recognize an approaching wave before they can ride it, believers must learn to discern the movement of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Too often, we become focused on what God did in the past and miss what He is doing right in front of us. God is constantly at work, creating pathways through impossible situations and making a way where none seems to exist.
This powerful message will encourage you to lift your eyes, strengthen your spiritual awareness, and position yourself to partner with the new things God is doing. Whether you’re facing uncertainty, waiting for direction, or seeking fresh purpose, you’ll discover how to recognize the wave of God’s Spirit and step into His plans with faith and confidence.
