Foster based pet rescue. We take in owner surrenders, and strays. We are a volunteer foster based rescue.
We take in owner surrenders, and strays through animal services. All dogs are microchipped, completely vetted, and spayed/ neutered prior to adoption. All adoption fees and donations go towards vetting costs. Here at Heartland Pet Rescue our goal is to decrease the number of dogs surrendered to animal services and ultimately find loving forever homes for each of them.

🐾 Meet Lila🐾
The newest addition to the Heartland Pet Rescue family is Lila, a beautiful 2-year-old "pocket pittie" looking for her forever home! ❤️
Lila is spayed, heartworm negative, up-to-date on all her vaccinations, and ready to start the next chapter of her life with a loving family. Dennis affectionately calls her his "chunky monkey" because she's carrying a few extra pounds, but that just means there's more of her to love! 🥰
If you watch the video, you'll hear Lila breathing hard and making some funny little sounds. She's just excited to be meeting everyone! Dennis even jokes that she sounds a little like a Frenchie. 😆
This sweet girl has a wonderful personality and is ready to trade rescue life for a comfy couch, belly rubs, and a family of her own.

Today Dennis is at Sebring Animal Hospital with our handsome boy Bear! ❤️
Bear is a 3-year-old purebred Chocolate Labrador Retriever who came in for his vaccinations and routine care. While waiting his turn, Bear showed off his sweet personality when one of the veterinary technicians came out to greet him. He was so happy for the attention that he stood up on his hind legs just to get a few extra pets! 🥰
This lovable boy is friendly, affectionate, and ready to find a family of his very own. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a heart as big as his smile, Bear may be the perfect match.

Hello Pawsitive Effects followers, we get asked all the time from people how they can help or volunteer. We need you more than ever NOW!
We have a situation that has grabbed our hearts of a beautiful dog named Ramona. For absolutely NO fault of her own, she has found her life captive by a kennel where she has spent over 2 years in with no hope to find her forever home. We are not focused on who, how or why this happened and only interested in helping her get adopted.
With that being said, we have spent some time making connections with the great people who have stepped up on their own time with pure intentions of helping Ramona!
We have an action plan and it cannot wait another day to not execute it.
Want to help where it really counts and will have a huge impact on the life of this beautiful soul before it’s too late!
