Since seriously throttling back my time on the road as a fulltime motorsport photographer, I’ve had time to start some heavy work on my archive. It is amazing to come across images I shot 40 years ago that have never been published and haven’t had eyes on them for decades. Here’s a shot I discovered of Motorsport Hall of Famer Danny Ongais stepping from his race car at Tamiami Park back in November of 1987, from my editorial film archive at BCPIX.com.
