The closer your sim setup feels to the actual car, the more useful your training becomes.
During a practice session, you might see a race car driver pull in to pit lane. Here are 3 of reasons why that might happen.
You can fine tune a car in SIM training more than you’d think
This is the simulator I use to make my real-world driving better. The biggest thing for me is feel. The seat helps me sense when the car is getting loose, the wheel gives real feedback, and the hydraulic brake pedal makes the practice feel a lot closer to the actual car. It’s not just sim racing. It’s training.
You may think that a sim racer is just a game, but it is a lot more than that.
Most leaders think silence means everything is fine. A lot of times, it just means your team hasn’t felt safe enough to say what’s really bothering them. Ask once, then ask again, then maybe even a third time. That’s usually when the honest feedback starts.
College can still be worth it, but the math has to make sense. The degree, the debt, and the job on the other side all need to line up. Don’t just buy the school name. Look at the return.
People always ask why you can’t just drive a race car on the street. It sounds simple, but once you look at how low the car sits, what it’s missing, how the tires work, and how quickly engine hours add up, it starts to make a lot more sense.
Who you spend time with matters.
I learned early that passion is contagious. Being around people who cared deeply and worked hard showed me what real effort looked like.
That frame of reference stuck with me.
I bought this house for $65K, put $45K into it, and it appraised for $180K. The cash flow is nice, but the real win is owning an appreciating asset with none of my own money left in the deal. That’s why I use DealMachine. It helps me find undervalued properties like this, which most people might not know existed.
