Hot stone massage is a specialty massage in which the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body.
The heat can be both deeply relaxing and can help warm up tight muscles, so that the therapist can work more deeply.
Combining hot stones with a full body massage can bring a deeper state of relaxation to the session.
