I just wanted everybody to know that yesterday I was responding to an emergency rattlesnake call in Healdsburg And I had a blow out in my left rear tireI immediately took the Shiloh exit and Windsor and went to Les Schwab tires, I went inside and told the pupils that counter what had happened and they told me it would be an hour and a 1/2 wait The manager John heard what I was saying and told me to pull into Bay number 2 He came out and helped me personally and within 12 minutes had a tire on my car and told me I was good to go, He said I didn't owe anything just bring the tire back when you get a new one, My kudos to John the manager At Les Schwab in Windsor when do you get service like that And courtesy also once again thank you John the manager from Les Schwab In Sonoma County the town of Windsor.

I always seem to be posting about snakes but we receive over 200 red-eared sliders hear and almost 60 Western pond turtles unfortunately a fair amount get hit by cars and myself and dr. Dan Famini are veterinarian work on repairing them fixing the shelves and letting them go we have new ways patching together their shells and some newer medications but we seem to work on about 1 a week that needs emergency care this year we seem to be doing better average of saving two out of three of them but there are some that still don't make it we actually get so many turtles in we have a turtle drop off tub at the rescue along with a rattlesnake drop off Barrel I haven't counted this year how many we've received yet but I know it's well over a hundred fifty we do hot find homes for every one of them Sonoma County seems to be lucky with a lot of ponds especially private one so people are able to give the turtles homes the native Western Pond turtle I'll let go back in the areas that need them we recently had a fairly large release at Lake Sonoma at the fishery that's run by Fish and Wildlife thanks for reading this post
