Introducing the *Climate Pear* !! Starting this weekend we are having an Asian pear sale. It turns out we humans weren't the only ones to hate that unusually intense heatwave. Our pears were feeling it, too !! Some of our more sensitive pears incurred a small brown spot in their middle right around the seeds due to the extreme heat. For that reason, we are unable to wholesale some of our pears to our normal vendors. But that's where you come in! Please check out our farm stand on Saturday 10-3 to get a case of otherwise perfect pears for 30% off, ~or~ let us know if you'd like to preorder a case for Berkeley or Marin markets this weekend. We love Lucy 💚! But we do *not* love gophers eating our fig trees 😏. People always ask us what we do to mitigate the gopher issue. Well, most of the time we just curse them under our breath 👩🏼‍🌾🌳🌻

We are always a little bit sad when apple season is coming to a close, but we can't wait for persimmon opening weekend on October 14 & 15 !! And while we won't have u-pick this weekend, we will still be at our normal farmers' markets and farm stand. We hope to see you all there 🙌🏼😋💚

When we're in between crops, we have a little extra time on our hands. And things tend to get a little extra silly 😜🍎🙌🏼

We are pretty much all picked out of apples as of today! Tomorrow we will still be hosting picnics and pear tasting, and persimmon picking is set to start on Oct. 14 & 15! We can't wait 😋👋🏼🍐🙌🏼

When it comes to farming, no two years are the same. And this season was definitely no exception! This past spring, increased rainfall interfered with our wonderful apple blossoms, so our apple crop is a little bit thinner than usual this year. This weekend, we are offering ~reduced prices~ on the remaining apples for our u-pickers, as well as access to our edible pumpkin patch. Additionally, we will be hosting interactive games for the children and encourage all interested families to take full advantage of our farm for a nice, relaxing picnic. Not to mention, you will have *unlimited* access to fun in the sun before the cold spells begin. Hope to see you soon! ☀️💚🌻
