New art in the shop from ✨ I got this gorgeous hand dyed silk scroll at the new beautiful .cochineal in Freestone. Do yourself a favor and take that country drive to this oh-so-dreamy location and see what treasures you find ✨

Dimensional blonde and loads of layers for the gorgeous and always lovely ✨this actually was a mini blonde foil application plus some lowlights to create shadows, which, say it with me…makes that blonde POP ✨👏🏽💁🏼‍♀️

I added more bright ribbons and a soft root for the lovely ✨ this is a classic example of wanting to add contrast and dimension to the hair, in a way that grows out easily and looks good for months. The chunkier balayage look lends itself to a bolder effect so the brightness doesn’t get lost over time. This is generally a look that can to 3-4 months, easily, I have some folks that do 6 months between appointments with this look. It’s all about the shadow root for longevity’s sake✨

Hey! It’s me, Dakota. Here’s my face. I felt it was a good hair day, and my bangs are behaving themselves. I like to share my face once in a while, to remind y’all that I’m a hooman. I have a 2 year old son who is the brightest light in my life. Children are mirrors and it’s insane. He’s the BEST. My dog is a senior senior citizen at this point, and it’s crazy how I used to think I couldn’t love anyone more than her. My husband is my biggest supporter and levels me out in the best ways. I’m grateful constantly for the life I lead with that man. And my salon is my peaceful place. I love creating cool cuts and painting amazing color on peoples hairs, and being able to make a living on it still blows my mind. That’s it for now.
