This is what safe, age-appropriate swimming looks like for a 3 year old 👍👍
Not all swim lessons are created equally. Some important questions to ask your coach:
"By the end of swim lessons, what will my child be able to do independently?"
"How long does it take for a child to learn these independent skills?"
We have lots of tips and tricks to help children acclimate to swim lessons, but the most important one we have is PATIENCE. We know the water can feel intimidating to some children more than others, and we do our best to meet every child where they're at to thrive AND come away with REAL safety skills. Some children take a little longer to get there, but every child does so in the end 🏊
