Twangfest

The final numbers are in and Twangfest raised over $12,000.00 for the Redwood Empire Food Bank!! Because they are able to purchase food at a discounted rate, every dollar equals four dollars of buying power. This means Twangfest raised $48,000.00 worth of buying power for REFB!! A big THANKS to everyone who participated in creating an incredible day. (Pictured is Shana Davis of the REFB receiving the loot!)

Hello Twangfesters! Most of the raffle tickets were claimed but there are few that were not. If your ticket number was 5131942, you won two round trip tickets to Burbank or Las Vegas. If your ticket number was 5131203 you won a $100.00 gift certificate to Lucas Wharf Restaurant! Please contact [email protected] to collect your prize.

Holy yodel, what was that?? It was a massive Twangfest, that's what it was!!! A day filled with love, positive vibes, great music and a total sense of community. Thank you all for coming together in support of The Redwood Empire Food Bank, it was a huge success on every level. Let's do it again next year!

TWANGFEST

Twangfest is a fundraiser for the Sonoma County Redwood Empire Food Bank, a non-profit organization that distributes food to those who have fallen on hard times in Sonoma, Lake, Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte counties. REFB has been there for many people in need especially during the hardships of the past two years - and they need our help.

Twangfest will be held on Sunday, May 15th from 3:45-8:00pm at HopMonk in Sebastopol. Local popular bands including Petty Theft Unplugged, David Luning and Ben Dubin, Sherrie Phillips of (Hangman's Daughter) and Friends and Kevin Russell & The Familiar Strangers with special guests Sebastian Saint James, Josh Windmiller and Danny Sorentino will be performing. Doors open at 3:00pm, local clogging troupe the Redwood Country Cloggers will perform at 3:45 pm, and a yodeling contest will be held as well.

Renowned artist Stanley Mouse created a commemorative poster - and the event will be hosted by beloved KRSH DJ Bill Bowker.

We will be holding a silent auction and raffle in an effort to raise as much money as possible to help Redwood Empire Food Bank. Local businesses, restaurants, wineries and private individuals are donating items, gift certificates, and more for the cause.

Grab yourself a ticket, it’s going to be a great party – music, food, drink, yodeling – everything that makes life a celebration – and all for the best cause!
