It’s our last week of service and your last chance to come say goodbye! We love you Cap Hill ❤️

We have so many agave bottles that we love, and so little time left to share them with you! Please join us for half-priced mezcals, tequilas, sotols, and more, while they last!

It is with significant emotion to share that we have decided to close Barrio, our beloved restaurant in Capitol Hill, after a truly exceptional 16 years. Our last day of service will be on August 30th.  

Opening Barrio in 2008 was an incredible team effort. The Chef team, our GM, Bar Manager, and all the front of house and kitchen crew were deeply committed to bringing something special to Capitol Hill. We opened during a snowstorm, and while it was a rocky beginning, we eventually built the business and created many fun memories. Over the years, our staff has been there for each other and collectively they provided something exciting to the food and cocktail scene in Seattle. 

It’s been an amazing journey, and we could not have asked for a more receptive community. Barrio has always been a space for friends, families, and neighbors where memories were made and shared. We have so much gratitude for all our guests who have supported us and continued to fill Barrio with vibrant and lively energy. 

Thank you all for your support, your companionship, and your love over the years. We look forward to seeing you over the next couple of weeks to share in the goodbyes as we move on.

You heard it here first, Chef is starting a new tradition to kick off every weekend. On Friday from 4pm until we sell out, we are featuring delicious hand made tamales. Bring a friend and try all of our new flavors!

PS. They pair great with a Mexican beer or ice cold cocktail!!

Can’t break away from work??? Our happy hour starts from 4PM-5PM, where we have $5 street tacos 🌮 , $10 snacks 🥑, and $10 cocktails 🍹
