Established in 1935, Oregon Shakespeare Festival is a nationally renowned theatre arts organization that presents a rotating repertory season of up to 10 plays and musicals, including illuminating interpretations of Shakespeare, other enduring classics and new works. 🎭

✨ Local National Board member Rik Deskin, Seattle Local member Cynthia Geary and Seattle Local Executive Director Davis Powell attended a filmmaker mixer with recent graduates of WashingtonFilmworks' Above the Line mentorship program. The program offers emerging producers educational sessions, panel discussions and workshops with industry experts on the business of film. 🎬

While there, they met with Washington Filmworks Executive Director Amy Lillard, Washington Filmworks staff, Seattle film industry professionals, and special guests from the Seattle International Film Festival to show support for the Washington film industry and encourage producers to utilize SAG-AFTRA contracts on their projects.
