We lost Dolly Parton this year, but her music is far from gone. Dolly Parton's Threads: My Songs In Symphony brings her voice and her stories to life — with Dolly herself on screen, plus guest vocalists and the Seattle Symphony at Benaroya Hall.

Hear "Jolene," "Coat Of Many Colors," "I Will Always Love You" and some of Dolly's personal favorites as well as a new song from her upcoming Broadway musical.

Brilliant soloist James Ehnes joined the orchestra for Bruch’s soaring First Violin Concerto, famed for its hypnotic and tender adagio. Then, the ultimate orchestral fever dream: Berlioz’s Symphonie fantastique. Berlioz said he composed it in “a mental boil”. Filled with unforgettable moments, this is our first reference to this season’s “nature” theme in the third movement’s Scene in the country.

Internationally acclaimed pianist Yefim Bronfman will perform Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with the Seattle Symphony at our Opening Night Concert on September 19, 2026. Yuja Wang, who was originally scheduled to appear, is unable to perform due to health reasons. We look forward to seeing you there and celebrating the start of the 2026/2027 season!
