Memory lane masks... Bandanas purchased 25+ years ago when I thought I'd have lots of time to sew fun things for my baby, remnants from a design for a recital dress about 18 years ago, the cow print became PJ pants when Nicole wanted to learn to sew..... Everything is at least 15 years old!!

This was so much fun to create! It was a case of changing the vision, to make it work on a real body....

And changing it again... and again....

The fabric was the boss.... it did not compromise.

I finally stopped trying to over design, and completed it just in time for opening night at the Opera!

1983 Carolina Herrera custom wedding dress. Hand beaded bodice by Maison Lesage, Paris.

So much fun to work on this gown.... With the bonus of being 'close enough' in size to be able to assist with fitting of the detachable train. AMAZING workmanship!
