Fine Tuning

In light of recent events, we would like to inform everyone that as an essential business that supports critical infrastructure, we are still open and operational. That said, we do request you message us here, call, or email us as opposed to just showing up.

Fine Tuning is seeking to hire one journeyman technician with a minimum of 5 years’ experience, as well as an entry level technician. Both positions are available immediately.

Fine Tuning is a well-known European repair and tuning facility in the Pacific Northwest. We specialize in regular maintenance as well as high performance upgrades and engine/drivetrain conversions. We have been an established business for 16 years and have a strong customer loyalty base.

The scope of our work ranges from scheduled maintenance, involving an oil change and various diagnostic checks, to racecar building. The work can vary widely and as such is not monotonous like the work one may find at a normal repair facility.

The majority of our clients own Audis or VWs, so a strong understanding of those vehicle makes is important. We do service other vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes, MINI, Volvo, and Porsche.

We also routinely perform repairs and custom work to VW vans, anywhere from solar panel systems to TDI AWD conversions.

- be punctual and ready to work

- ability to remember and follow instructions

- have basic computer skills such as typing at a reasonable pace, MS word, MS notepad, etc.

- maintain a clean work space

- able to work well with others, as well as work independently to complete work in timely fashion

- commitment to the company with intent to be a long-term asset, job hoppers will not be considered.

- have your own tools. Journeyman position is expected to have full complement of tools. Entry level position is expected to have basic toolset.
