So I keep trying to retire from performing because I get a lot less satisfaction doing the masked shows. Sorry! I get off on attention and catharsis, not from Doing What is Right. Skill issue, perhaps. However, the obligation to show up for a scheduled performance is the most reliable way to manage my pretty chronic sui ideation-so retirement is not an option, doctors orders literally. so where does this leave me? still making art, still trying to live in alignment with my values, still being a huge baby about it all. bandcamp friday

I grew up going to church a lot (it was the nineties) and in my childhood imagination the ten commandments were given to Moses on plastic overhead transparency sheets. I know catholiccore is more glam than 3rd wave non denominational protestantism but it was very satisfying to have my lyrics up on an analog projector (seen blurrily on the right). Happy Pride!
