A rainbow bids us farewell as we journey back to the mainland and onto Dublin. 🌈

Day 8 - Afternoon- Tucked away on the windswept limestone of the Aran Islands lies Na Seacht dTeampaill—The Seven Churches

Built between the 9th and 15th centuries and dedicated to St. Brendan the Navigator, this sacred site was a major pilgrimage stop, sometimes called the "Irish Rome."

Day 8 - Morning Prayer - **A Prayer of Aran (Inspired by Saint Enda)**

*O God of wind and stone and sea,
Who dwells in silence deep and free,
Make of my soul a quiet shore,
Where pride and want shall rise no more.*

*The waves may batter, skies may break,
Yet still Thy peace I shall not forsake.
With hands in toil, with knees in prayer,
I'll find Thee, Lord, in salted air.*

*This island bare, this cloistered sod,
Is holier ground for love of God.
No gold I seek, no worldly fame,
But only grace, and Thy good name.*

Day 7 - Evening - There’s a deep stillness on the Aran Islands that feels sacred.

The wind, the sea, and ancient stone ruins whisper centuries of solitude and prayer.

Walking here feels like stepping into a living memory — shaped by monks, myth, and ocean.

Day 6 - Evening - St. Brigid's Well, Cliffs of Moher

Beannachtaí an oíche ort, is mo bheannchtaí féin ort comh maith. Chugat a tháinig mé ag géarán mo scéal chugat, agus d'iarraidh cabhair ort.

Translation: "Blessings of the day to you, Brigid, blessings of the night to you and my own blessings as well. It is to yourself I have come, voicing my complaint and asking your help

Day 6 - Morning - “It's love and compassion” - Fr Alec Reid

Leaving Belfast and Northern Ireland inspired by the Day of Remembrance, the art and kindness of the people and of course a few pubs.
