Sweet Water is a collection of solo piano compositions steeped in the love of classical piano, improvisation, the harmony and rhythm of pure harmonic vibration, and especially the enchanting vocal and instrumental styles of Javanese Karawitan. All original compositions are gems of rare beauty and each is an expression of a gesture of water—sunlit vortices, calming nourishment, memory, your body afloat upon glassy deep water peaks and troughs under the stars, a river of harmony, and a delicate finale of love and purity.

Gamelan Pacifica hosts a few original works of mine, most notably Iron Tears for gamelan and string quartet, performed by Gamelan Pacifica and Del Sol String Quartet, also, an arrangement of Philip Glass' piano piece Opening arranged for gamelan, and more. All are featured on incredibly high-quality, fully mastered recordings.
A heartfelt special thanks to Jarrad Powell and Gamelan Pacifica. Jarrad provided many tools and the inspiration needed to record, produce, and physically release this album in such wonderful beauty and fidelity.
