Our services include early childhood education, youth development, family support, senior & disabled adult services, and health care access programs.

CISC serves immigrants and their family members through our family, youth and senior programs in Seattle's Chinatown International District, Bellevue, Renton and Redmond and numerous community-based sites. We provide these services at our four office locations in Seattle, Bellevue, Kent, and Redmond and numerous outreach sites such as community and senior centers. The agency has language capacity in Cantonese, Mandarin, Toisanese, Taiwanese, Russian, Vietnamese, Ukrainian, Spanish, and English.

21 amazing seniors from our Sunshine Garden Senior Center and Family Support Caregiver Program came together to volunteer at Food Lifeline. They packed 1,320 lbs. of rice in just 1.5 hours for families in need. đź’›
Our eldest volunteer, at 82, reminded us that giving has no age limit. The energy, enthusiasm, and teamwork were truly inspiring.

CISC is honored to receive the City of Bellevue’s AA&NH/PI Heritage Month Proclamation on May 12. Our Senior Center Director, Boliver Choi, accepted this recognition from Bellevue Mayor Mo Malakoutian and the Councilmembers on behalf of the many families, youth, and older adults we serve every day.

This proclamation affirms that our languages, traditions, and stories belong—and that our community’s contributions matter. It’s also a reminder that true belonging means being able to fully participate, feel respected, and stay connected.

We are grateful to the City of Bellevue for this meaningful recognition and for their partnership in building a more inclusive and connected community, not just during Heritage Month, but year-round.

We look forward to continuing this work together, starting with our upcoming Community Health & Resource Fair on June 24 at the North Bellevue Community Center!

CISC’s Family Caregiver Support Program hosted a series of arts & crafts activities, giving caregivers a chance to relax, connect, and destress from daily responsibilities. Thank you to all caregivers for the love and care you give every day. 🌿✨

Participants in our Senior Day Program on the Eastside, which serves Russian- and Ukrainian-speaking older adults, held an appreciation event for Lyudmila, who will be leaving CISC after 7 years of service.

Mila has been with the program from day one when it launched in 2019 and is now operating in Bellevue, Kirkland, and Redmond. Flowers, cake, and warm hugs showed how much the community appreciates Mila's heart and passion for creating connections and improving well-being for older adults. Thank you, Mila!!!

Thank You for Making the 2026 CISC Friendship Dinner Unforgettable! đź’›
On April 25, CISC was honored to welcome 280 guests to the 2026 CISC Friendship Dinner at the Museum of History & Industry. Thanks to your generosity and community spirit, we raised over $320,000 together!
This support helps our bilingual staff provide linguistically and culturally appropriate information, referrals, advocacy, social support, and essential services to immigrant families in our community. We are deeply grateful to our sponsors, community partners, and supporters—your belief in our mission makes this work possible.

CISC joined the Seattle/King County Clinic, a 4-day free healthcare clinic serving our community.

As a community partner, we hosted a booth to support visitors with Medicare information, medical insurance guidance, and Mandarin/Cantonese interpretation—helping make healthcare information more accessible.

Thank you to our teams - Health Care Access, Community HUB, and SHIBA volunteers for showing up and supporting community members throughout the event.
