Old-timers unite! If you shopped at Snowboard Connection in the early 90’s you were probably helped or intimidated by this gruff teddy bear named Lieb Wexler. He left Seattle in ‘99 for New Mexico. And today he surfaced in So Cal, catching up with John Logic. Good Times!

We met up w/an old customer, Andrew Bloch at Hyak. He hadn't boarded in 20 years, but was still rocking the K2 Fat Bob he bought at SnoCon. How's this for freaky: when digging it out of the closet, he found his original receipt. It was sold to him by Patti. Same Patti O. that he would meet 10+ years later, date, and marry! Love Wins.

"Stop pointing at me!"
Banked Slalom this past weekend, 31st annual, and old John Logic (and Lisa) took home the Craig Kelly Spirit award. Big big honor - really, the biggest in snowboarding in many ways, or at least the one given with a waterfall of Love from some of the most passionate people on the planet!
