Heads up to all of my traveling friends -- those who play music up and down the coast, who read and write books and poetry, and who like to stop at the community centers in the places where people like to think. And to those who live in those places and value them. I have performed in Eugene's Tsunami Books many times was always welcomed. People like Peter Rowan and Mary Gauthier played there. Lots of people. It's one of my favorite venues and is a unique cultural gathering place. Well, like many of the medium and small venues, Tsunami has come to a crossroads, and they've decided to buy the place rather than die in a quicksand of rising rents. So they've started a "go fund me" page to see if they can turn that corner. Check it out.

Friday, May 29th -- concert at the University Friends Center in Seattle. Music is in the Chapel/Meditation room. A beautiful acoustic space. There will be no electronics, all natural.

To all my Bellingham friends -- and anybody with wheels who loves to go to good gigs. This promises to be a very excellent night of music. I've wanted to do something with Hanz Araki for ages -- everything he does is great. His band is called Steeplechase. If you've agreed to do something else that night cancel it and go here. You won't be disappointed.

Katie Wilson founded the Transit Riders Union about 20 years ago and me, being a long time bus rider, jumped right in. I thought "if she ever runs for mayor I'm gonna vote for her". And I did. And here's the T Shirt to prove it.

It's amazing how many seriously insulting trolls I've had to block just for posting of picture of myself with the new mayor. And just for future reference... I discovered a new feature -- when blocking someone you are offered the option to block them plus any future names they may use.
