Today we are thrilled to announce that Jeremy S. Rothman will be joining the Seattle Symphony and Benaroya Hall as our next President & CEO, beginning September 1, 2026.

Jeremy currently serves as Chief Artistic Officer of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Ensemble Arts, and he brings more than 25 years of experience in orchestral management and performing arts leadership.

With a track record of driving artistic innovation, institutional growth and organization-wide collaboration, Jeremy is a visionary arts leader who combines a wealth of musical knowledge with a strategic approach to audience development, fundraising and institutional leadership.

In sharing today’s exciting announcement, we also want to recognize Chief Development & Project Officer Maria K. Yang for her outstanding stewardship of the organization. As Acting CEO, Maria has advanced key initiatives including our successful Amplify capital campaign, and her ongoing leadership will ensure a smooth transition when Jeremy joins us in September.

Sellen Construction took the concrete to the first, second, third floor!

And since today was all about concrete, we only needed one Carpenter for this house tour 😉

Tell us a better way to transport the concrete from the loading dock to the third floor of Benaroya Hall — there isn’t one!
