Four years ago today on April 30th 2022, ._ split half of her 6ft table with me at Husky Expo 🐾💜 I debuted prints of thirsty anime men I drew on stream in Taiwan, hand cut some Genshin booba boy stickers with friends, and debuted a Tanjiro print that I had been working on since 2019- intended for my Kawaii Kon 2020 booth before life took a turn 🏃‍♀️💨

4 years and 75 booths later, I’ve scribbled cats on napkins and turned them into totes, served more girl dinners than I can count, made incredible friends and memories, and still proudly try, fail, and learn with more pink and more gratitude than ever before. 🌸

Thank you for this wonderful and exhilarating journey. 🥹 It hasn’t always been perfect, but it’s always been with all my heart. Thank you for loving my art, supporting my craft, and still being here through all the ups and downs. 🫂💖 this is such a special project to me- I have no idea what its final form is yet, but in the meantime, I’m going to deep drawing. And the rest will follow ✍️

Sakura con earlier this month hit home for me in so many ways 🌸💖 A group cosplay planned for months with friends I never imagined I’d be able to have. 🥹💖⚡️A full corner booth at a con I’ve wanted to booth at since I was a kid! 😭✨ A spontaneous GINTAMA group cosplay??? 😭💖 That middle school Eileen would absolutely lose her mind over- AND you cosplay your favorite character, Kagura !! 🥺🥺💖 WHILE at your own artist booth??? 🤯🤯😭💖

So much light, love, and joy!! 😭⭐️✨ my brain has been happy altered. Joy receptors firing. My memory is capturing everything again. I’ll cherish these memories for a lifetime.

Kawaii Kon was the first con booth I ever had in 2019, and my 2020 table got canceled along with my graduation and everything else🧍‍♀️ it’s been a wild ride since. I’m so happy with how these turned out 🥺💖 The art was drawn for a heartbeats ablaze theme event but the style I went with ended up feeling sentimental and pretty and god I love em 😭💖🌷 oh the clutch these 2D pixels have on us all ⛓️💖

The text behind each is from their anniversary letters (a mix of either year) and I secured BOTH their Chinese and English signatures to add 🤝😘 (probably mostly for me HA) 🌷 I also deployed my most FRIED brain cells to desperately overthink the five different fonts I chose for each LI that I felt would suit them 💖😂 I added their flower and symbolic elements (elements not drawn by me!) that collage and make it feel similar to a journal entry of sorts 🥰 how did I do? Do the choices speak to you? 🥹💖

They are lITERally becoming prints as we speak! I’m picking them up later today! For purchase tomorrow at the Anniversary Event! So excited to finally contribute to the delulu community I’m now a part of 😉💖

Thank you for the incredible year 🥺💖 I traveled farther than I thought I would, learned more about myself and healed alongside this project of mine, and have been humbled and overjoyed in the journey. I have little Eileen dreams and big ideas in my heart of where I want all this to go, and every day I feel a little braver to keep going on. Im beyond pinching myself at where my doodles and drawings have brought to me 🥺💖
