ππ BIG NEWS! π¦πΏ ZooTampa at Lowry Park just announced plans for a $125 million transformation over the next 20 years that will bring new immersive wildlife experiences, expanded public education initiatives, and drive local economic growth.
π¦π¦ The transformation includes a new South America-themed realm, expanded habitats for majestic mammals like gorillas and African elephants, a new Manatee Rescue area, and a reimagined Asia realm that will immerse guests in the habitats of some of the worldβs most endangered species.
ππ Plus, guests can look forward to new interactive experiences like the Stingray Shore exhibit and riverfront access to the Hillsborough River.

Breaking news from the Los Angeles Zoo ! A recent rain storm caused a large pine tree to fall onto a pedestrian pathway, but thankfully there were no injuries to guests or staff.
