Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Native Votes Matter Seattle Public Schools Board Candidate Forum. We enjoyed amazing food and important conversations about our schools. Thank you, Native Action Network and Urban Native Education Alliance, for having me and hosting! I am committed to recognizing and honoring indigenous communities.

Today is 🧠💚
Student wellbeing and safety are foundational to a strong school environment. I want to shout out all the mental health providers, including SPS employees, city-funded resources, and invaluable community partners who help SPS kids. I’m especially encouraged by the city's recent funding of free online therapy for Seattle youth—when we invest in our students' mental health, we’re investing in their future!
As I run for school board, I want to be clear: I will not tolerate antisemitism in our schools. This issue is personal for me. My father, an Italian Jew, came to the U.S. during WWII when his family faced discrimination under Mussolini’s regime. I stand with the Jewish community and will always fight to make our schools safe, inclusive places.

I had a blast attending Pancakes for Progress today and celebrating this get-out-the-vote season. As we approach the general election, I want to give a special shout-out to all Precinct Committee Officers working to reach and engage voters.
Thank you to the 34th, 36th, 37th, 43rd, and 46th District Democrats for hosting and organizing this lovely event! Your efforts make a real difference, and I’m proud to have the 34th and 36th Dems' endorsement.

Carol's maternal grandmother, pictured here, was an English teacher and fought the Missouri legislature to allow women teachers to continue teaching even after getting married (that was indeed prohibited!)

Get to know Carol 🌟👋
Introduced to politics early by her activist Democrat father, Carol began attending precinct committee meetings as a toddler. In high school, she went on to serve as a page for the U.S. House of Representatives.
