Took the Hemi Superbird to cars and coffee yesterday and met up with a Daytona.
Some nice kit turned up, as did the sun

I had been waiting way too long to do this. I think the white wheels look so much better on this old girl.
Yes, even with the transport nuts :-)

Our car season has officially started. First cars and coffee of the year was amazing. Big thank you to all the volunteers, they do an amazing job keeping this clean, safe, and enjoyable for us all.
I thought the M1 held its own in this serious company, but then I am biased :-)
Catching up with friends old and new, and some truly great cars as well.

When changing a tire did not take 2.5 seconds.

Imagine having that kinda skill and balls, which I know I do not have. Huub Vermeulen is coming into that corner hot, in the Levi CSL, surrounded by all and sundry, even big American iron

I know there are lots of pictures of many race cars on FB, on the odd occasion, even some of my other toys.
Nice to see the Diet Coke get a little recognition.
This car was a Schnitzer team car in the 1994 BTCC and in 1995 went to Australia and came second in the Australian championship, driven by Geoff Brabham

I Tip my hat to Autumn and the team at the Petersen Museum in LA. Besides that small "whoops" in the title, a fantastic job was done on layout and commentary.
One the best I have seen on one of my cars

In 1974 when my Dutch National Racing Team CSL ran with Marlboro and Texaco sponsorship, Huub Vermeulen was driving.
Many of you know the story of Texaco and BMW negotiations at the start of BMW Motorsport, but I wonder how many BMW Motorsport cars, after that failure in the early 70s, actually got Texaco money like this old girl.
