Welcome. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and my musical passion.

There’s something powerful happening when we bring Latin composers into the symphony space and merge that sound with mariachi. It’s not just collaboration, it’s a redefinition of what classical music can feel like for our communities. The warmth of the strings, the richness of the brass, and the soul of mariachi coming together, that’s what bliss sounds like.

This is the heart of what we do at Encanto Arts, creating a sound that reflects who we are, where we come from, and where we’re going. A space where culture, tradition, and musical excellence meet on the same stage.

Enjoy Te Amo, composed by Franco De Vita and arranged by Andrew Pang for Symphony and Mariachi, brought to life by Encanto Arts with the EWU Symphony and Mariachi Las Águilas.

This is more than music. This is identity. This is passion. This is Encanto.

The final opera of the season, Carmen, was a resounding success, with the soprano’s performance being truly awesome and fantastically dramatic. As I celebrate my 10-year anniversary as a loyal ticket holder, I am reminded of the importance of supporting our arts institutions. It is my firm conviction that professionals have a civic duty to support these institutions, which are vital to the fabric of our society. I owe this perspective to my older sister, who taught me the value of contributing to our country’s cultural heritage.
