It is with great sadness we are saying farewell and best wishes to our Assistant Director Cole Kopca. Since joining PacTrans in 2016, Cole has been an integral part of our team. His contributions have been nothing short of remarkable. From securing two UTC grants to establishing numerous administrative procedures and building a vast network of connections, Cole's impact on our research, education, workforce development, and technology transfer activities has been profound. His exceptional performance has also opened up numerous new opportunities for PacTrans.

Cole's last day will be March 29. However, we are fortunate that he will remain part of our community as a PhD student until the completion of his studies. Dr. Ryan Avery will serve as interim assistant director between Cole’s departure and the new assistant director is in place.
