Help support our community! This year, Seattle Oasis is supporting Food Lifeline to assist those in need in western Washington communities.

In a typical year, 850,000 people in Washington are affected by food scarcity. Through the COVID-19 crisis, the number of food-insecure people in our state has doubled to 1.6 million people. That number is likely to reach more than 2.2 million people before the crisis subdues. With donations dropping by 70% through the pandemic and a second wave quickly approaching, these upcoming months are crucial in preparing for food scarcity.

Stemming from the fact that we often find unopened non-perishable food items left in our units after check-out, we are encouraging our guests to leave these items to be donated! We have also created a “virtual food drive” through GoFundMe where a $1 donation can provide five meals to those in need. For every donation, Seattle Oasis has committed to donating an additional $1 to feed a family of five.
