๐ Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.: A Legacy of Hope and Change ๐
Today, we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a champion of justice, equality, and peace. His dream of a world united in love and understanding continues to guide and inspire our mission at the Washington State Black Legacy Institute (WSBLI).
โจ โInjustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.โ โ Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
At WSBLI, we are committed to preserving the stories of Black leaders, pioneers, and communities whose resilience and achievements remind us of the power of collective action and hope. On this MLK Day, letโs reflect on how we can embody Dr. Kingโs vision and work toward a more equitable and inclusive future.
Join us on February 1, 2025, for our Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and the Legacy Art Exhibit, where we continue to honor the contributions of Black trailblazers throughout history.
