This is what 2026 looks like so far. ✨

The 2025 selfies that didn't always make the feed.

When I think back on 2025, I think WOW what a crazy year with so many ups and downs.

But here are some thoughts that come to mind when I think about what lessons I will take away from 2025. In no particular order:

✨ It's ok to be a slow creator with both my music and my videos.

✨ It's ok to ask for help when life is too much. I definitely needed to rely on others during some hard times this year, and I'm so grateful they were there when I needed them.

✨ It's ok to take medicine when your mental health needs it, it doesn't mean you are weak or that you failed. Anxiety med really made a huge difference for me the last half of 2025. I'll talk more about that sometime.

✨ To stop and be present in the moment. Life passes too fast, and I know we hear that all the time. But it's true, and you never know when something will be "the last time" with someone.

✨That sleep is important. That's all. 🤣 I function optimally on 9 hours of it, and I'm trying to prioritize it more and more.

✨ I learned what it means to have true friends.

✨ That I'm a composer who does the rare performance instead of a performer who happens to compose. It's taken years to become her from the former, but realized this year I AM her. I am a composer. And maybe a rare once-a-year concert will just be my thing from now on.

✨ Last but not least, I am married to a good one. I'm so lucky! Truly. And our kids are all right too. Jk I love them too - so much 🤣.

I hope you all have good things coming to you this next year. And be proud that you made it through 2025. I think that's worth celebrating. 🎉

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Thomas Fam! 🎄🎁❤️❄️

It was so fun to attend 's Christmas concert at . It's been a while since we made the trip into the city to attend this annual concert from the peninsula, but it was a great night.

It also happened to be exactly 10 years ago (to the day!) that I performed on that stage with this choir and orchestra, as we debuted my WINTER SYMPHONY album (which they also recorded on). It was all very nostalgic last night.

I remember being backstage getting ready for that concert in 2015, and thinking about my years of working for the Seattle Symphony for years in the education department and dreaming of performing on that stage one day. So that concert was very special. ❤️ (Pics 8-15 are from the concert in 2015).

What a beautiful night of music and memories!

🎄❄️ 3rd Annual Thomas Holiday Party // Three years ago, I started envying all of our friends posting about their corporate holiday parties and wishing we (self-employed people) could have a fancy excuse to dress up and celebrate too. As an independent composer/artist who works very hard (with my husband by my side), we are often just exhausted trying to get it all done and survive.

But that started our annual tradition - our own "holiday party". 🤣

It might just be Will and I, but we enjoyed an evening talking about 2025 - the high's and low's, what we are grateful for, and more.

And it was also really lovely to finally make it out to Lake Crescent Lodge in the for dinner.

Merry Christmas everyone. Do you have a "company" holiday party this year?

🎡 "What was up, is now down.
What was once my air,
I now drown.

The world around me
Gives way below me,
And swallows me whole into depths that don't know me.

Nothing is as it seems,
That's clear.
No one says what they mean,
Not here.

A hall of mirrors,
My face full of tears,
This was not the ride
I stood in line for,
For years.

It feels like an Underwater Carnival Ride,
With cheap thrills,
And shark infested chills.
All the while they smile and laugh by your side,
While pulling you in,
And you take it in stride.

And the deeper I go,
It's harder to see.
The more I hold on,
The less I feel free.

But I signed my waiver,
Unaware of the danger,
On this one-way ticket
To the depths of a tempest sea.

So step right up said I,
And have your prize back,
This is where I draw my line in the sand black.

A comedy of errors,
I now see the smoke and mirrors.
End scene,
Take a bow,
I'll exit and take my life back."
