Southern Italian meets Pacific Northwest in our neighborhood restaurant. Locally sourced ingredients, handmade pastas, and simple, fresh flavors.

We are a family owned Southern Italian eatery in the heart of Seattle's historic Pioneer Square, just steps from the stadiums, blocks from the waterfront, and minutes from Downtown and Pike Place market.

'Radici' means roots, and to us that means featuring locally sourced produce seafood, and meats along with our own handmade pastas, and Italian cooking techniques that have been passed down from

Thank you for posting Dinah Mortell:

Just some thoughts as we enter the Holiday season. It is important to remember that not everyone is looking forward to the holidays. Some people are not surrounded by large wonderful families. Some of us are having problems during the holidays and may be overcome with great sadness when we remember the loved ones who are not with us. For many it is their first holiday without a particular loved one and many others lost loved ones at this time. And, many people have no one to spend these times with and are overcome with loneliness. We all need caring, loving thoughts right now. If I don't see your name, I'll understand. May I ask my family and friends wherever you might be, to kindly post this status for one hour to give a moment of support to all those who are having family troubles, health struggles, job issues, worries of any kind and just need to know that someone cares. Do it for all of us, for nobody is immune. I hope to see this on the walls of all my family and friends just for moral support.
Hold your finger over this to copy & paste this one, NO sharing!!!

Dear Friends,

After 45 years in this business and nearly 20 years running Rialto, then Radici, it’s time to say arrivederci. I have met so many wonderful and supportive people through the years. Some have become and remain close friends. Your encouragement and positivity has kept me on track, lifted my spirits and made our restaurant a home away from home for all of us.

It's on a bittersweet note that we announce our last night will be next Wednesday June 13th. Hopefully you can find time to stop by, say hello, and enjoy one last meal. We will also be open for dinner on Monday the 11th to give you more options.

For those hooked on “Rudy’s Red” sauce, we will establish a support group to help you through the withdrawal. To find out how to continue to get your hands on some sauce, please sign up for our newsletter here so we can stay in touch: http://eepurl.com/dxffhT

The website and instagram will stay up for a while just in case I go crazy and start another project. Would love to hear from you as well. You can contact me at [email protected].

I will miss all of you and hope our paths cross again.

Ciao, Rudy

Is this the day? Still a bit of a chill in the air but the sun feels so great. Happy Hour cocktails on the patio?
