We're looking for a Director of Programs to join our team! ECOSS seeks a Director of Programs who is a compassionate and empathetic leader with the skills to be able to support, mentor, and uplift staff in their work. The Director of Programs will be passionate and skilled at designing metrics for measurable program outcomes, and at implementing new systems of accountability to track our organizational impact through effective data collection and management. Join the ECOSS team for a morning in nature, working on our habitat restoration site, and meet fellow ECOSS community members. We will be removing non-native plants for recently planted and more established plants to continue thriving.

What to Bring
Dress for the weather. Please bring closed-toe shoes and clothes you do not mind getting dirty. Bring reuseable water bottle. We will have gloves and tools for everyone.

Become an outdoor leader!
In this cohort program, you will experience different outdoor activities, connect with nature, and gain essential skills to lead outings.

This cohort is open to participants 18 years or older, of any skill level, with priority given to people who haven't had the opportunity to be outdoors before. Members of BIPOC or immigrant communities are encouraged to apply.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Earth Day with the Rainier Vista community as part of the Foresting Seattle program! We shared native plant information and games, merch, and more with the youth! 🌲

Such a wonderful Earth Day with the community, 💚💚 Over 40 volunteers showed up to help with blackberry and ivy removal across two sites at Seward Park! It’s amazing what we can come together to accomplish 🌲

Sending out so much love to Astrid as she embarks on her next adventure! For over four years, Astrid has managed many of our clean water and stewardship programming, from salmon recovery, gsi for all, to environmental stewards, and always brought such a kind and positive energy to ECOSS and the community. We will miss you! 💖
