Meet our 2026 Frye x Design poster winner, Aya Borucki! Aya (they/them) is a Seattle-based illustrator, who creates colorful designs, often inspired by layering processes found in printmaking.
Their poster design was inspired by the Frye’s interior, illustrating its changing exhibitions and visitors. Aya was struck by the variety of work on view, ranging from classical to modern art. The poster invites curiosity and allows the viewer to explore a warm interior as they would experience when visiting the Frye itself.
Celebrate Aya's new Frye x Design poster alongside our latest shows at our Summer 2026 Exhibitions Reception & Performance this Friday 6/5! Check our their dynamic and playful illustration out in the Courtyard, then stop into the Frye Art Museum Store to get a copy for yourself.
The poster is available in the Store & online now!
