It is with a lot of sadness, but also with some joy that we announce the closing of Sawyer. Over the last four years, we have been a part of so many birthdays, weddings, celebrations or just a meal out you were hoping to make special. We cannot thank you enough for supporting us and for letting us be a part of those moments and memories.
Our last service will be October 2nd and plan to host a few pop ups the week after. We hope that you come in to say goodbye.
To the staff both past and present, I can never put into words my gratitude for all you did. Many of you have been at Sawyer since day one and most have worked for multiple years. It was you, the staff, that made Sawyer special. Thank you!
Closing Sawyer was the hardest decision I have ever made. Being a chef and owning a restaurant has been my dream since I was 11. While there has been a lot of moments of joy and gratitude, there has also been plenty of moments of loss. For much of my life I have prioritized professional achievement while putting my family on the back burner. Owning Sawyer had been my dream, but priorities change, and it has become apparent that closing Sawyer is what I needed for myself and my family.
