An exceptional heat wave is forecast across Egypt on May 16th, 2026, with temperatures expected to reach as high as 48°C in Cairo, according to the Climate Information Center. Cune Press is an independent publisher based in Seattle, Washington. We are passionate about publishing diverse voices and covering a wide range of topics, with a special focus on the Middle East and North Africa.
Now part of Salaam Cultural Museum, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Cune Press is dedicated to promoting the rich cultures and traditions of the Middle East.
