RIP to the late, great Terry Kath.
It has been said that when Jimi Hendrix saw him play he said "The guitar player is better than me".
44 years ago today, we lost Terry Kath, the man who Jimi was talking about. Terry was a founding member of, the guitarist for and a singer and songwriter for Chicago . He died from an accidentally self-inflicted gunshot wound.
There can always be discussion of who is / was the best Rock and Roll guitarist, and in just about every conversation, Terry is mentioned.
If he could come back and play just one song, which song would you like to hear him play?
RIP Terry. You are missed by so many.
From Cygnus:
I am sad to report that Unhinged Radio will never return to broadcasting. With the costs of broadcasting increasing, listeners for our type of station decreasing, and my own considerable health issues ... going back on air is just not going to be possible.
Unhinged was on air for around 4 years. DJ Cosmik and I both thank everyone who took the time to enjoy the station over that time. Please be well - stay safe - and maybe we'll see you down the virtual road one day.

Rest In Power ...
Today we remember Charles Mingus, who, on this day 43 years ago, died from ALS. As we enter the 100th year of Mingus's birth, we are forever reminded of his impact.
From Joni Mitchell's liner notes to the album "Mingus":
“Charles Mingus, a musical mystic, died in Mexico, January 5, 1979, at the age of 56. He was cremated the next day. That same day 56 s***m whales beached themselves on the Mexican coastline and were removed by fire. These are the coincidences that thrill my imagination.
Sue, at his request – carried his ashes to India and finding a place at the source of the Ganges River, where it ran turquoise and glinting with large gold carp, released him, with flowers and prayers at the break of a new day.

Will send you to the saints of jazz –
To Duke and Bird and Fats –
And any other saints you have.” - Joni Mitchell
