The Somari Collection is a 2026 Core77 Design Awards Runner Up!

Inspired by classic lantern forms and brought to life through innovative 3D printing, Somari combines sculptural design, beautiful illumination, and sustainable materials in one expressive collection.

A huge thank you to Core77 and the jury for this recognition—and to everyone who helped make Somari a reality.

This project features a combination of illuminated and non-illuminated Acoustic Echo Grid modules, creating a layered visual rhythm that integrates lighting and acoustic performance into a single design solution. The illuminated elements provide ambient light while the unlit modules extend the pattern across the space, adding depth, texture, and continuity throughout the environment.

By combining form, function, and materiality, Acoustic Echo Grid helps create spaces that are both visually engaging and acoustically comfortable, supporting collaboration, focus, and everyday workplace experiences.
