The foundation of every successful project is teamwork. Successful-built-projects require early and constant collaboration between owners, designers, and construction professionals in order to achieve the highest degree of overall project realization at the lowest possible cost. Our projects are intelligently designed, professionally managed, and built with the attention to detail that is the hallmark of true craftsmanship but the efficiency of the process is critical. We achieve this by developing cost feedback as early in a project's design development as possible, allowing for design adjustments based upon estimated construction-cost related feedback. This state of "early enlightenment" with respect to relevant cost and methodology related information allows the entire team to work together to plan for a great project, not in spite of the input of the team but because of it. While we welcome collaboration with all outside design professionals, our in-house Design Team compliments our unique delivery model. This allows us to achieve creative excellence and genuine craftsmanship in a controlled and predictable way. This translates into lower cost and faster lead times than projects delivered in the traditional way. Craftsmanship is in the Details
At Mallet Design Build, the smallest architectural details often become the most meaningful elements of a home. For a current high-end residential project, our team is fabricating a custom metal shelving system designed specifically for the space it will inhabit. Fabricated in our in-house metal shop, the piece reflects the same attention to design, engineering, and craft that guides every project we undertake. The process begins long before fabrication. Early design collaboration, detailed shop drawings, and precise coordination ensure that every dimension, connection, and finish aligns with the architectural intent. Renderings allow the client to see the concept clearly before it moves into production.
From fabrication through installation, each step is executed with meticulous care. The result is more than a functional element; it becomes a refined architectural feature that reflects the value of thoughtful design, integrated process, and true craftsmanship.

Our team at Mallet Design Build partnered with Town & Country Market to identify a viable path forward for a new Ballard market hall concept by navigating Seattle’s energy code and thermal envelope requirements through an integrated design-build approach. We are excited to see this vibrant extension of the Fieldhouse brand take shape.
