Craftsmanship is in the Details
At Mallet Design Build, the smallest architectural details often become the most meaningful elements of a home. For a current high-end residential project, our team is fabricating a custom metal shelving system designed specifically for the space it will inhabit. Fabricated in our in-house metal shop, the piece reflects the same attention to design, engineering, and craft that guides every project we undertake. The process begins long before fabrication. Early design collaboration, detailed shop drawings, and precise coordination ensure that every dimension, connection, and finish aligns with the architectural intent. Renderings allow the client to see the concept clearly before it moves into production.
From fabrication through installation, each step is executed with meticulous care. The result is more than a functional element; it becomes a refined architectural feature that reflects the value of thoughtful design, integrated process, and true craftsmanship.

Adaptive reuse often requires more than design. It calls for creative problem-solving across architecture, construction, and code interpretation. Our team at Mallet Design Build partnered with Town & Country Market to identify a viable path forward for a new Ballard market hall concept by navigating Seattle’s energy code and thermal envelope requirements through an integrated design-build approach. We are excited to see this vibrant extension of the Fieldhouse brand take shape.

We are stoked to be working with Jen Barnes and her team on Rough and Tumble, a sports bar prioritizing women’s sporting events. Great Idea! You may know the spot as one of its recent occupants, Sawyer. We are working hard and targeting an early December opening. Can’t wait to see this space open and full. LFG!

Our team created mobile, modular counters out of birch plywood in order to establish a brand forward public facing storefront. The plywood is CNC’d with a repeating vertical graphic and subtle store branding which unifies the modular counters and creates a seamless customer experience. If you are looking for a great place to have lunch, be sure to check out Kudedon in the Puget Sound Plaza on 4th.

We designed and installed these custom cane and walnut chandeliers before opening night at Michael Mina’s Bourbon Steak downtown. We designed the original RN74 at this location and we’re happy to help them rebrand.
