In 1988, Housing Development Consortium started with 10 nonprofit members and a vision. Today, membership encompasses every major nonprofit housing developer in King County as well as financial institutions, consultants, architects, building contractors, attorneys, labor, accountants, service providers, local housing authorities and government agencies. Together, our members work collaboratively to meet the housing needs of people with limited incomes throughout the region.

This incredible weeklong education and advocacy series works to highlight the role affordable housing plays in stabilizing our communities, and features an exciting lineup of events—from workshops to building tours!

Of special note is our Affordable Housing Week Kickoff & Legislative Roundtable event on Monday, May 18. We hope you'll gather with us alongside folks from across the affordable housing, policy, philanthropic, and community sectors to launch this incredible week of events, centered on the theme of “Charting the Future" and featuring a keynote by Gregg Colburn, Founder and Academic Director of the Housing Futures Center at the University of Washington, author of Homelessness is a Housing Problem, and Associate Professor at the UW College of Built Environments!
