Happy Heavenly 100th Birthday to Wing Luke. The first Asian to hold an elected office in the state of WA. The Wing Luke Museum was founded in honor of him and for the preservation of Asian histories and cultures. Although my father was born in Richmond VA but raised in Seattle in the 30’s, I’m honored that he and his family photo is on display there.

I remember baking all the Christmas cookies for my customers and catering parties. NY Times Cooking put a twist on the classic chocolate crinkle cookie. Turmeric lemon almond crinkle cookie. Where’s all my Cookie Monster taste testers?

My favorite season for baking🍂Cardamon, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, apples, pumpkins…🤪 even back in my restaurant days☺️ my pumpkin, chocolate ganache, salted caramel cream cheese cake took the top spot🎃
