It was a special week where I was given 5-star special guest treatment from two of my most favorite humans on the planet, my investor partners, who I admire and learn from every time we’re together. I have known Rene and Racquel since I began investing in real estate over a decade ago, and they have consistently grown their businesses into one of the greatest empires I’ve ever seen. They have been eager for me to visit and show me Grand Rapids, MI, where their massive portfolio of residential, commercial, and multiple businesses are. I was blown away!! Getting picked up in a brand new McLaren and being whisked away for multiple super beautiful drives to Muskegon, to Lake Michigan, to Ada, to their private lake, their favorite restaurants, to meet their staff and clients, all who love them dearly. I felt like family and it’s a privilege to spend such quality time with them because they truly care so much about their community and the people they help, providing jobs, shelter, business opportunities. It was incredible to get a glimpse of their empire and I look forward to many more years of joining them in travels, investing and watching them continue to grow. Thank you both for being such amazing friends and taking such great care of me and trusting me to invest with!! I love you both!!

That time we took over the British Virgin Islands… 4 yachts and 40 beautiful friends and crew. An incredible week of excursions and theme parties as we cruised the islands and literally took over each one to throw epic parties. 🎉 life is beautiful!

The hosted the Lever Forever event on Sunday 4/26, showcasing a variety of Lever Espresso machines that were initially designed in 1901 and became a popular style of machine in the 1940’s. Today they continue to be built with a spring loaded lever to force hot water through finely ground coffee. Previously the pressure of this lever would snap back up and could possibly hurt the barista. While there’s been many electronic and technological advances in machines, a lever pull system has a hands on process that creates a golden foam, called the crema. Enthusiasts love the craftsmanship and new safety features that has been perfected over a century and La Marzocco along with a couple of other brands like Lapera, are still manufacturing these unique espresso machines. Come check out the museum and see the many beautiful machinery on display at Seattle’s one and only espresso machine museum.

Grandpa Kent is featured in the New York
Times today along with La Marzocco!!! Kent also has one of the largest collections of Espresso
Machines in the world and my folks recently opened a museum in Ballard. Anyone who loves coffee, should come check it out…

New York Times:
The Ferrari of Espresso Machines Is Fueling a Hot Resale Market

The La Marzocco coffee maker has long been a sought-after classic. But used machines are now even more coveted by cafe owners and collectors.

Nearly 50 years ago, a Seattle cafe owner traveled to Italy to try his hand at importing espresso machines. His trip changed the course of coffee history in the United States.

While in Florence, that owner, Kent Bakke, noticed something he’d never seen before: a machine that had two separate boilers, one for steaming milk and another for brewing coffee, allowing the milk to stay hot without scorching the espresso.

Huge win for my clients on closing their first home in the beautiful Broadview neighborhood 🏡✨

This stunning remodel checks every box—featuring FOUR separately landscaped outdoor spaces 🌿 and just blocks from Puget Sound, with parks and walking trails all around.

Q1 was no joke for buyers this year. We spent months in the trenches—competing, learning, adjusting, and getting sharper with every offer. After going head-to-head on several properties, this one stood above the rest… and this time, we brought it home.

So excited for this amazing young couple as they start creating lifelong memories in a place that truly fits them. Moments like this are why I love what I do.

Congratulations!! 🎉

It’s been a fascinating week in the mountains of Valle de Bravo, MX 🇲🇽 as we hiked to see coffee trees being planted, grown, harvested, and processed for roasting. Lalo’s passion for coffee, as the Distributor for La Marzocco machines in Mexico, a recent owner of Buna Coffee Roastery in Mexico City and now the owner of Ikaria, a very unique coffee growing & roasting project that is located 7500 feet in elevation. Coffee doesnt like cold or direct UV rays, which is why coffee is typically grown at much lower elevations. But Lalo likes a challenge!! 💪🏽

This the highest possible level that coffee could successfully grow. But it also requires a ton of expertise and a unique process of cultivation and intense daily maintenance. It doesn’t just grow here. Coffee requires a perfect balance of soils, inoculation, sun, shade & water, and even sunscreen spray to protect the young leaves.

The new Ikaria brand is attempting to be the highest quality coffee in the world and it doesn’t produce on a massive scale, just a couple of hectares here, so it’s also one of the most expensive and exclusive coffees in the world, due to the immense quality controls that go into every step along the way.

I have learned so much about coffee this week and we are very lucky to be taught by such a passionate coffee genius who has put an incredible amount of effort into growing his business here in Valle de Bravo. Stay tuned for more info on Ikaria Coffee!!! ☕️

No words to explain how insanely fun this last week has been in Tulum. The level of performances, massive stages, incredible sounds and to travel and party and dance with so many fun friends in Paradise. It’s so hard to leave, but knowing Tulum will be even better next time we come back… I can’t wait to plan the next trip!! Miss you All!!!
