VETS RESTORE offers training, mentoring, and job placement guidance for newly returning veterans to King County, Washington in preservation carpentry. ARTISTS
Cornish College of the Arts is committed to the outreach and support of our local community of artists in both the visual and performing arts. Approximately 20-30 pieces are expected to be selected for this exhibition by multiple artists. Artwork can be listed as available for purchase, artist receives entire fee with no commission to Cornish. We are reaching out to artists that have been a part of Artist UP program through the Office of Arts & Culture Seattle, 4Culture, and Washington State Arts Commission and Cornish Playhouse

📢The Washington Trust for Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that grant applications for the 2018 Valerie Sivinski Fund are now being accepted. The deadline for submitting applications is Friday, October 13, 2017.

The Valerie Sivinski Fund is an annual grant program that provides grants up to $2,000 and pro bono building assessment services to local historic preservation organizations and advocates engaged in the important work of preserving Washington’s cultural heritage. Established in 1997, the program to date has awarded cash grants to 133 projects totaling nearly $130,000 in funding as well as three pro-bono building assessments.
