And independent venues should not have to fight for survival while scalpers make billions off our risk.” Yesterday, NIVA member David Weingarden of Z2 Entertainment testified before the Senate Commerce Committee on deceptive ticketing practices — spotlighting speculative tickets, deceptive websites, and the toll of a monopoly on fans, artists, and independent venues alike.
