It’s a snow day!!! Mid March and winter finally arrived after many weeks of “fake spring”!

I’ll wear a smile all day 😃 it’s ok if we don’t share this joy. It will be gone by the afternoon. In the meantime, drive safely. Stay at home and cozy if you need to. Pick out a cute hat and go for a walk if you love it. Just know we are always here. Doing hair, rain - snow - sunshine ❄️💕

Happy woman’s day! In my mind, everyday is worth celebrating women. Especially women in business. Here’s what we’ve been working on that you may not know.

Core values are important to me. Supporting small businesses was a given. Although, I noticed it was hard to find brands female owned in the hair space of business. So I started silently hunting. Here are some kick butt brands we carry that are not only owned by women, but are high quality products. The details in these products blow me away!

is a woman owed company that makes those cute foils we use in your hair. As well as our clips, brushes, color brushes and many little rolls that make a big impact to our craft.

We also took note that our new location is blocks of woman owned businesses. Which is beyond fabulous!

To all the women out there. We freaking love you! You are powerful. You are deserving. You matter. And we will lift you up always.

Sometimes we remember to take pictures 🤩 such a beautiful blonde deserved a moment!

We are blending grey here. This was done by foiling with 3 different developers. Here’s our plan…

1) grey comes in stronger in places. We only want to gently lift these for a face frame and toning.

2) The hair not greying is going darker. This is normal. So we want to brighten and lighten these areas with a different formulation.

*Much of the time this happens to people who were once very blonde naturally. Hormones and such.

3) We want to keep it lower maintenance. So we diffuse the blonde at the roots with finer weaves. That way we can go up to 3 months. The grow-out is so soft. The golden toner helps too. *my personal fav

4) Every grey journey is different. It always helps to have a plan with your trusted stylist.
It makes the changes a lot easier to absorb. As well as coming up with your comfort with maintenance and budget.

Feeling great about yourself is our #1 goal 🥰 we want nothing more than you to feel like the queen that you are!

Spent NYE and Christmas in my hometown with family and lifelong friends. It was heartwarming and fun. It was just what I needed. I reboot with my roots so I can be here to cover yours 😉 I think I’m punny 😂

What trends will we see for fashion, for living? I’m loving Y2K cause I can be 20 again! Also chunky sweaters over dresses, cozy jeans and dressing to my mood or happiness. Letting natural textures free! Bring on the beachy blonde or chocolate waves. What will you love?

It’s my birthday! Here’s my wish as I celebrate with family and friends in Australia 🇦🇺

This year my birthday lands on small business Saturday. How fitting. As a person that comes from a family of small business owners, I want nothing more than to keep this tradition alive. Supporting small business means you have a community. They are not only places to gather. They are also people serving your community in a way that makes you want to live there. They are not about greed or climbing figurative ladders. Owning a small business means that they are about the people around them. We have to keep this alive. Support the business you walk by. Shop on their websites. Get to know the people behind what you support. Cause they are not only asking for your business. They are likely your neighbor. Astute to the details of serving the needs of our people. Hard working folks. Often hiring your children or laying a bowl of treats out for your fur babies. If I can leave one thing behind. In a sea of sharks, choose the goldfish. Walk in, say hi, become members, choose small business. That is my only birthday wish. Lift up the small businesses of the world!
